These terms describe the main rules for using GoPlay.no during the early launch phase.
Using GoPlay.no
GoPlay.no is a browser-first service for creating, discovering, and joining local sports games. By using the service, you agree to these launch terms and to the privacy policy.
The MVP is designed to help games happen more reliably, but GoPlay.no does not guarantee that any particular event will fill, run, or meet your expectations.
Eligibility and accounts
The current launch policy assumes member registration is for users aged 16 or older.
You must provide accurate information for your account and keep your login methods secure. Do not impersonate other people or use another person's identity without permission.
Hosts and players
Hosts are responsible for describing games honestly, managing attendance fairly, and communicating material changes such as cancellation, location updates, or approval decisions.
Players are responsible for joining in good faith, showing up when confirmed, and cancelling as early as possible when plans change.
GoPlay.no may preserve and use operational records about joins, cancellations, and no-shows where that is necessary for the service and for protecting the community.
Payments and off-platform arrangements
The MVP does not provide integrated payment processing. Any payment, pitch fee split, or reimbursement handled between participants is outside the current GoPlay.no platform flow.
GoPlay.no is not the merchant of record for those off-platform arrangements in the MVP.
Acceptable behavior
Do not use the service for harassment, discrimination, fraud, spam, unlawful activity, scraping, or attempts to disrupt the product.
Do not post content or messages that are abusive, threatening, or unrelated to the event context in a way that undermines community safety.
Suspension and deletion
GoPlay.no may restrict, suspend, or remove accounts that abuse the service, threaten the safety of others, or create legal or operational risk.
Users can request account deletion from settings. The product currently applies a 7-day hold before permanent removal so accidental deletions can still be reversed.
Liability and changes
To the extent permitted by law, GoPlay.no is provided on an as-is basis during the MVP and early launch phase.
These terms may be updated as the product, legal entity details, and launch operations mature. Material changes should be published on this page before they take effect.
